Only Doing Cardio For Weight Loss

ONLY Doing Cardio for Weight Loss Puts You at HIGH Risk for This Syndrome

If you only do cardio as your soul thing that you do for weight loss, then you are at risk of having this syndrome…

I’m going to tell you what that syndrome is in a second…

First, I want to tell you why I am even talking about this topic…

People Think That Running is a Weight Loss Method

The other day I was at the gym…

I was conducting a PRT in the Navy which is Physical Readiness Testing…

Basically, it’s just a test that we do to test if they can do pushups, sit ups, and running at a certain speed…

There are certain requirements that you have to meet in the military…

If you fall below them, you fail and get kicked out…

If you are above those requirements, then you stay in…

That’s pretty much it…

I was at this gym, I’m a CFL which is Command Fitness Leader…

So, I am the guy who runs this testing phase in the military for the command where I’m at…

I was there at the table and I was talking to this one guy…

He came up to me because he had seen me take some of supplements…

I take supplements because I like to not because I have to…

He said “Wow! You are taking all these supplements”…

“Is that what I need to do to lose weight? I just need supplements like that?”…

Before I could even answer the guy, another guy comes up to me from the side and he tells him:

“Oh, you want to lose weight? I will tell you the secret to losing weight. You ready?

The secret is to run. I run all the time! I run 8 miles a day, all I do is run and guess what? Look at me, I look pretty damn good and I don’t have much fat”…

That wasn’t the first time I have heard that…

When I was stationed in Hawaii…

We were in the gym and working out with a bunch of people there…

Hawaii is always sunny, if you’ve never been there it’s a pretty cool island…

There was this guy there at the gym that was talking about how he lost weight…

He says “you know, the reason I work out is because I like to eat. I work out all the time so I can eat whatever I want”…

When people were talking about working out, he was mostly talking about running…

These guys ran a lot…

That wasn’t the first time I heard basically people running as their sole purpose for keeping the weight off…

These guys were never very fit, but they managed to keep the weight off for the most point…

For me personally, I didn’t always used to know a lot about working out, about nutrition, about weight loss or any of those things…

I used to run all the time too…

Actually, I ran all the time because I was trying to get faster, but another benefit was that I was also keeping a lot of calories off so I could eat whatever I wanted as well…

Skinny Fat Is Looking Skinny and Fat at The Same Time

Don’t get me wrong, running burns a lot of calories…

But for people to just tell me that this is their sole purpose for weight loss is kind of awkward…

The reason why is that if all you do is run and all you do is cardio, then you end up with what they call skinny fat…

Skinny fat is basically that you lose a lot of your weight or a lot of your fat if you will…

You start to look skinny but you don’t have any muscle on your bones, so you still have this layer of fat, because you got to have something…

So now you just look skinny and fat at the same time…

I like to call it the ‘T-Rex Syndrome’…

You’re walking around with this skinny upper body (like T-Rex has little tiny arms) and then massive legs…

Then you’re walking around like that with massive legs and ready to ‘ROAR’, like my 5-year old son does at home…

That’s what you got!

You got the ‘T-Rex Syndrome’!

I call it the ‘T-Rex Syndrome’ and that’s what you got…

You’ve got these toothpick little arms and toothpick upper body and you’re walking on these monster legs, like a T-Rex…

You can call it skinny fat but I call it ‘T-rex Syndrome’…

If you like the ‘T-Rex Syndrome’ and you like having skinnier upper body and huge legs that are way out of proportion, then go for it…

Hey, you know what? If the fat is off and that’s how you do it and that’s how you feel good about yourself with the weight being off, then go for it…

You’re still healthier then when you had the fat…

But if you don’t want to look all wacked out like a T-Rex, then there’s a way better way to do it…

A lot of women might think “I like having big booty”…

Because that’s all I see women do in the gym is working their ass and working their legs…

I hardly ever see women working their upper body…

So, women might like ‘T-Rex Syndrome’…

Then ignore all this and go about what you’re doing, because, I’ll be honest with you…

I don’t mind women having the ‘T-Rex Syndrome’…

I’m a leg and booty man myself so I get it…

Still, you should work your upper body too…

What’s wrong with the upper body?

Too Much Cardio is Like Any Other ‘Fad Diet’

My thing is this…

I see it every day, I go to the gym and I see these guys…

They spend hours and hours doing cardio and that is all they do… is cardio…

That must be the most ‘mind numbing’ and boring thing I’ve ever seen…

You’re going to sit around hours just doing cardio?

Look… I ran fitness enhancement program in the Navy for a long time…

That basically is guys who failed the PRT because they are overweight, they get assigned to me and I am responsible for finding a way to help them to lose fat…

Guess what?

Every time these guys try to do it themselves, they always do a ‘SHIT TON’ of cardio…

And that is all they do…

No wonder you are still overweight and you’re failing every 6 months and coming back to me, because all you do is cardio!

Here’s the thing about if you only do cardio…

I don’t think that it’s a long-term, sustainable weight loss management plan…

I just don’t…

I don’t think that anyone’s going to do that for the rest of their lives…

“All I’m ever going to do is an hour of mind numbing cardio every day”…

I just don’t believe it…

I do not believe that you can maintain that forever…

You might be able to do it for a while…

But I just don’t believe it’s sustainable…

Maybe there are exceptions to this rule, a couple guys out there and all they do is run and they love it and they are that hard runners…

For the majority of us, I just don’t believe that’s the case…

If you are overweight, running is not a good option for you…

Because every pound you’re overweight is equivalent of 10 pounds of pressure on your knees…

You’re going to be that person walking around with those ‘big ol’ knee bracers’ on your knees because you damaged the cartilage so much from that constant banging up and down…

At least do elliptical or something like that… or bike, something that has less impact…

I beat that one up enough…

I just wanted you to see the downside of what ‘just doing cardio all the time’ is…

Fad Diets Are Not Sustainable for Long Term Weight Loss

You really want to have long term sustainable weight loss that you can maintain easily without going through some extreme method?

Every weight loss plan or ‘fad diet’ found on the market is always some extreme thing…

It’s always like ‘let’s pick one thing…running…and let’s go run forever! That’s all we’re going to do’…

And that is their thing…

Or it’s some fruit…

‘Go eat this fruit every day and you’re going to lose weight… your stomach fat is going to come off… It’s going to melt like butter, just going to drip on out’…

That’s how it sounds to me…

Every time I hear one of these crazy things, it’s just ‘do this one stupid thing, take this one little pill and your weight is going to go away forever’…

It’s always some extreme thing, just one thing taken to an extreme level…

Most of this doesn’t work and none of these are long term plans…

Maybe some day they will come out some magical thing that you can use but I don’t see it ever happening…

I just don’t…

It just doesn’t make sense…

There Is Better More Sustainable Option for Weight Loss

So, here is what you need to do…

If you want to have long-term sustainable weight loss where you never even have to think about ever having to buy another weight loss program again or any of that crap, then you just need to understand that it’s a ‘multi factor’ approach to weight loss…

You need to find somebody that’s internalized the information…

That understands it so well that they can transfer that information to you in an easy and enjoyable way to understand…

Take two months to learn this and you’ll never have to learn it again…

You will have it in your brain…

It takes 8 weeks to develop a new habit and you only have to do it a few minutes a day for 8 weeks…

Quit going after this crazy, quick, ‘I want it now’, ‘I’m going to lose 35 pounds in a week’ bullshit, because it doesn’t work like that…

Take 8 weeks…

Take it slow…

Internalize the information and then you’re done…

You’re done after 8 weeks you can live happily…

You can finally be on track to having the body of your dreams…

Not the ‘T-Rex Syndrome’ and actually have a good-looking overall physique without spending hours doing mind-numbing cardio…

There’s no reason for it…

I’ve lost weight without ever doing cardio…

You don’t have to do cardio!

I love cardio, but I don’t run because it is boring…

I used to run, and I hated it…

There are way better ways to do cardio…

That is what I recommend if you really want to lose weight and keep it off…

What you really need to do is to go over to my website https://www.internalizeweightloss.com

Get on the waiting list for my course that’s about to come out…

It’s an 8-week course and it’s designed to change your life forever…

It will be the last weight loss plan that you ever purchase…

It’s not even a plan, it’s the Internalization Method that just goes into your brain, it just plugs in and it is there and then you are done…

That’s about all I have…

Go ahead and lose that way the right way…

That’s what I want for you and that’s why I get frustrated, because I really want to get my point across to you and because I don’t want you to be wasting your time doing all this crazy stuff, that is such nonsense…

It really is…

If you thought this was useful and you know some ‘T-Rex Syndrome’ people out there, then go ahead and share this with them…

They need it, trust me…

Let’s get their body in balance!

Take care and I’ll see you soon…
