I mean let’s face it, that is a serious concern…

I don’t know about you but when I get home from work, that’s family time…

My wife and kids been waiting for me to get home from work and if I just say “hold up guys, Daddy’s got to go to the gym…

I will see you in like couple of hours and sorry, but then it’s time to go to bed”…

No! That isn’t going to fly…

I’m just saying…

Not if you want to have a long-term relationship with your family, that is positive, and you love your family…

I know you love your family…

You love your kids…

When you are at home you want to spend time with them…

You don’t want to be having to go to the gym…

Come on! Who wants to do that?

Trying to Lose Weight Make My Wife Unhappy

Let me tell you a quick story…

I was in Guam and I remember I hadn’t been working out for a long time…

I had just started doing it…

I remember this process of going to the gym went on for a little while…

I would get home from work and I would walk in and open the door…

My wife is there and she is happy to see me…

She gives me a hug and a kiss…

She has been making dinner and she has been alone all day because we didn’t even have Arthur yet, my son…

So there is my wife, alone all day long and then I get home from work and I am like “look honey, I got to go to the gym, because I am trying to build up my body to look good”…

Its kind of got to that point in our relationship where I could see her face that she didn’t like to hear that…

“What do you mean, you’re just going to leave now?”…

I could definitely feel some tension in the air at this point…

Now she is kind of looking at me like “Okay, go ahead. You want to go to the gym then go to the gym”…

We all know that kind of answer isn’t exactly the right answer we are going for…

It is always scary when they are like “Hey, just go”…

You are wondering like…

I don’t think she actually meant to go…

You know what I mean?

So, I did…

I went to the gym…

But when I would come home she would be pissed…

I am like “You told me to go, you said it was okay”…

Then you come home and she is pissed…

She is not talking to me…

She is like “I’m just going to go to bed”…

What do you mean? We are not going to watch a movie?

“No, I’m tired”…

These little things, you know…

If you have been in a relationship with someone for a while, it is weird how you don’t have to say certain things but your actions and the way you say them is actually what is your answer to the problem…

I knew what the problem was, I am not an idiot…

I knew that she did not like this…

She did not like me going to the gym and it was affecting our relationship…

I am serious!

It was…

It had a major impact…

Because to her, in her eyes, I am going to the gym for what…

To make my body look good?

Who cares? She doesn’t care about that…

She likes my body the way it is…

She just wants to be with me…

So, for me to be like “I am going to the gym”, I felt completely selfish inside to say that…

Because I wasn’t doing anything for her…

I was at work all day long when she was home alone, then I am going to the gym for me and then I am coming home again…

When is her time?

She’s gotta have time in my schedule during the day but we all know there is only a limited hours in a day…

Then when I had my kid it was even more difficult…

Because now she wanted me to help with the kid when I get home…

Rightfully so, she has been with the kid all day, she needs a break…

This is my time to help with the kid now…

You’re here, you help with the kid…

It starts to get to the point where I want to lose weight and I want to cut body fat down and I know I need to exercise, because I am sitting on my ass all day at work at my office job…

I’d sit on my ass when I drive home, then I am sitting on my ass when I get home and then I am sleeping…

I know the problem is I am not physically active…

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon to figure that out…

What is the answer at this point?

What am I supposed to do?

I can’t do it when I get home, I am stuck at my job all day and I am kind of just stuck in general…

I remember I am not the only person that has that problem because my buddy, when I was in Guam, he had the same problem and he had put on a lot of body fat…

I asked him if he is going to the gym…

He said “No, the wife isn’t letting me to go to the gym for now, because when I get home it’s my time to watch the kids”…

He was really struggling because he wanted to go to the gym, legitimately…

He used to be really muscular like a bodybuilder…

He looked really big and good…

But he started putting on a lot of fat, all the hard work was going to waste and he didn’t know how to handle it…

What do I do?

What can I do?

When I get home from work, my wife won’t let me go to the gym and I love my family…

I don’t want to give that up…

But I got to go to work to make money to support the family so what the hell…

There is no time left!

I do got to sleep…

That is a requirement in this world is sleeping…

Otherwise I am going to die a lot sooner without sleep…

It is a major predicament to be in at this point…

Being Obese Wasn’t a Problem 100 Years Ago

Now, if you look back in history…

Rewind the clocks 100 years…

They didn’t have the same problem…

This is a new problem…

This is legitimately a new problem that doesn’t have well-known answers to it…

It’s okay that you don’t know how to deal with this because to me it has never been brought up and it is not addressed hardly ever…

No one talks about it being a problem, but it’s a major problem…

If you rewind the clocks a hundred years, people’s jobs were all manual labor jobs…

They didn’t have office jobs because they didn’t have computers…

So, when they went to work, they did manual labor the whole day and when they came home, they got to relax with their family if that’s what they wanted…

Even a lot of times when they got home, they continued to work because it was just part of their daily lifestyle…

They didn’t have TV, so they still got home and were active even when they got home…

Sitting, Sitting and More Sitting Equals Getting Fat

Now you look at today, it’s the complete opposite…

You go to work and sit…

You sit on your ass when you drive to work…

They used to walk to work…

You sit on your ass when you go to work…

You sit on your ass when you get to work…

You sit on your ass when you get home…

And then you sleep on your back when you go to bed…

What is the solution for people that have this problem?

Let’s face it, some people got to work long hours…

In the Navy my buddy is actually the reason I am talking about this today…

Because he hit me up and told me “Look, it’s hard. I go to work every day and I work long hours”…

He’s on a ship…

When you’re on a ship, you can’t just leave and go to the gym during working hours…

You are stuck…

Especially when there is a big requirement, when there are people on board who are higher rank, he is required to be there…

It is very difficult…

It is not uncommon to put in 14-16 or even 18 hours a day…

Seriously!

Then when you get home you only have a few hours to give to your family…

Not even a few hours, maybe like an hour…

Before you got to go to bed and do it all over again…

What is the answer?

This is a serious problem…

Wouldn’t it be nice and cool if it was like it was before…

I know we love technology…

I know we love computers and all that…

But wouldn’t it be cool if you went to work and you would get all your physical activity in that you need to get through the day…

That way when you got home and your relaxed, you didn’t have to go to the gym and you’re still able to lose weight…

Almost like it was before…

The cool thing is you can do this…

You 100% can!

Simple Way to Be Physically Active and Lose Weight

I’ve developed a plan where you can actually do that…

I call it the Technology Reversal Method…

It seemed to be the perfect phrase to explain this type of a way to incorporate physical activity into your life…

You’re not going to do a workout in the traditional sense of the word, because we are assuming we don’t have time for that…

If you have time to go to gym, and you can do that then great, go to the gym…

Even if you do have time to go to the gym, you should still do this…

It incorporates physical activity into your life…

It is amazing because it is so simple…

You’d be surprised how easy it is…

The things you are already doing throughout your day…

There is an alternative way to do it that actually allows you to use physical activity instead of using technology to do it…

It is going to increase your physical activity throughout the day, so that you’re going to burn the calories and you can start seeing better results losing your body fat…

I am not saying that you are going to lose body fat really fast because of it, like 50 pounds in two months, but your body weight is going to stop going upwards…

Let’s face it, you are packing on…

You are packing on the calories…

You are still eating, especially if you are stressed out and working long hours…

You’re going to be packing on the pounds slowly over time…

It’s not that you just got super fat overnight…

It has slowly gradually happened because your sedentary lifestyle…

Imagine if all off a sudden your body weight would slowly start moving downwards, now all off a sudden your fat starts dripping off…

Problem solved!

It is not an actual work out…

You can incorporate these things right into your normal life…

I use it every single day…

Yes, I go to the gym because I want to build muscle even more, but even if I wasn’t, I’ve incorporated these things into my life…

It changes the way you see things…

All off a sudden you can now just lose the weight…

You just finished a long day in the office, you finally got home, you want to sit down…

I don’t know what it is about getting home after a long day of work, it is almost orgasmic in my body and I just want to sit on that couch, even though I didn’t do anything all day…

Man, I am tired!

You know what I am saying, right?

It takes a lot of mental power to go to the gym…

Even if you did get the mental power, you feel like a dick, because you’ve sacrificed the time with your family to do it…

Now you get to get the body, you get the fat off, you don’t get kicked out of the Navy, you don’t have to deal with health issues and dying before your time because you’re overweight and you can have a heart attack or you can lose limb to diabetes…

You are setting the right example for your kids now so they see you lose the weight and now they can learn how to lose weight themselves instead of being second generation obese, because you weren’t able to teach them how to control their weight…

Now you can!

You can incorporate it into your life and finally have it the way you need it without going to the gym…

The biggest thing is, you got to figure it out…

I mean if you have got time to go in the morning, then go in the morning…

If you have time to go when you get home, you don’t have a family then you don’t have this problem…

But if you’re working super long days, you can’t work out at lunch, you can’t go when you get home, because this is family time, you know you still need to do some physical activity…
